Requirements & Setup

Arrival

Your performer will arrive about 30-45 minutes before the start time.

Please plan to have someone from your organization meet the performer at this time to let them into the building.

If you need to get in touch with your performer, their name and phone number are on the confirmation emails.

Requirements

Here’s what the performer will need from you:

  1. Two tables, about four or five feet long.

  2. Trashcan, any size.

  3. Access to an electrical outlet.

  4. Access to a kitchen or utility sink before/after the show (can be in a different room).

Room Setup

We will tailor our setup to your unique location, but here is our preferred setup:

  • Children seated on the floor or carpet.

  • Performer on the same level as the audience (not on stage).

  • Chairs in the back and/or on the sides for the grownups.

  • The performer will bring painter’s tape to mark the performance space and a center aisle through the audience.

The show works best indoors where there are fewer distractions like traffic noise, sun glare, and wind. However, we will happily perform outside if you prefer!

Sound System

For small and medium venues (like libraries and preschools), the performer may choose not to use a sound system.

For large venues (school assemblies and rec programs), the performer will bring a speaker and microphone to make sure everyone can hear.
